Training is an important element of movement building because it helps to develop and empower individuals to contribute to and sustain a movement. This week, Joe and Martín discuss movement building through training with advice about how to maximize training and mistakes to avoid making. They are joined by the Executive Director of the LGBTQ+ Victory Institute, Elliot Imse. Martín and Elliot discuss the importance of trainings and how the LGBTQ+ Victory Institute's candidate and campaign trainings have helped LGBTQ+ candidates, elected officials, and leaders gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make a difference in their communities.
